Qualified Appraisal Reviews with Weaver Appraisal Group
As said in a statement by the Federal Reserve, "financial institutions are required to have an effective, independent real estate appraisal and evaluation plan," and that appraisers performing reviews are obligated to "have the knowledge and skillfulness to assess compliance with the Federal Reserves appraisal regulations and guidelines." Weaver Appraisal Group provides appraisal review services that are objective, qualified, professional and in accordance with the Federal Reserve's rules.
If you have questions about an appraisal, or if you need a real estate appraisal review, call us today.
The Federal Reserve says appraisal reviews "should find out whether the appraisal or evaluation is well-suited for the transaction, the liability of the transaction, and whether the methods by which the collateral valuation is acquired ensures independence and quality." They "should also announce whether the appraisal or evaluation report matches the letter of engagement, which describes the scope of the appraisal assignment." Last, The Federal Reserve states that "some financial institutions add periodic reviews with post-funding assessments of appraisal quality for any of their higher-liability or greater-value dealings as a channel to assist in detecting valuation complications."
In addition to adjusting our work to the regulations and guidelines of our review customers, there are four Fannie Mae forms that are mostly used for review services, and we can produce an appraisal review on any of them. They include an appraisal "desk" review, a "field" review, a "short" form and a "narrative" form. At Weaver Appraisal Group, we are qualified in all forms of appraisal reviews, review procedures and the responsibilities of review appraisers.
We're aware of what the most frequent imperfections are, especially in our real estate market. We also know what constitutes a quality appraisal. In the same regard, we are trained enough to admit that the competitors in our market are able to do quality work. The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, or USPAP, govern appraisal reviews as well as appraisal reports, and you can trust Weaver Appraisal Group to fairly review appraisal reports done by others. And those others could be reviewing our work, too!
You can rely on Weaver Appraisal Group for our neutral judgment, because we offer professional, impartial, ethical appraisal review services for our customers. Contact us for more information regarding our qualifications, expertise and service offerings.
